Because of your continued generous spirit, Friends for Friends was able to make it a more joyous Christmas for three area families. Your FfF Executive Board approved donations of $1,000 each so that the parents could provide a few more presents for their children on Christmas morning.

Your Friends for Friends Executive Board met recently and approved three nominations to assist neighbors in need dealing with the physical, emotional and financial struggles caused by cancer. A fourth nomination was approved to assist a homeless single mother with her challenging situation.

The first annual Friends for Friends Bowl-A-Thon is scheduled for Saturday, October 20 at Sproul Lanes in Springfield from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
