Friends Helping Friends This Holiday Season

Dear Friend,

I hope this note finds you well and ready to enjoy with family and friends all of the Blessings this Christmas season will bring.

Your Friends for Friends (FfF) Executive Board met this week and approved two nominations in the amount of $2,500 each for two people in our area who are suffering terribly with diseases that are ravaging nearly every part of their bodies.

Sarcoidosis and Common Variable Immunodeficiency (CVID) are the medical culprits punishing our two ‘friends’ in need; and while these nasty conditions do not receive a lot of media attention, those who who are afflicted with these two diseases, and their loved ones, will tell you the physical, psychological and financial toll it takes on everyone involved is staggering.

But thanks to your continued support of our FfF membership drive and FfF social events throughout the year, we are able to convert your contributions into meaningful donations for our neighbors in crisis.

Bringing Joy to Christmas

As we move closer to Christmas, we are again looking for a family with young children who is experiencing a financial hardship and may struggle to make this holiday season a festive one.

If you have someone in mind, please email the information to me at president@fffcharity.com for your executive team to consider.

Annual Dues Still $50

Finally, the renewal of our annual dues is underway and will again remain at $50.00 for 2015. Please visit our website to renew your membership using PayPal, or mail your check – made payable to Friends for Friends – to the address below.

Sincerely,

Bob Carroll - FfF President
