FfF Holiday Nominations
Your Friends for Friends Executive Board met recently and approved two nominations to assist a couple of area families with the challenging financial realities that hang over them from dealing with medical issues.
The first donation went to a woman who is fighting Leukemia and is awaiting a bone marrow transplant. The seconds donation went to a 14-year old girl who had a large cancerous tumor removed from the base of her spine that left her paralyzed.
Each family received $2,000 along with assurances that our FFF family would keep their loved ones in our good thoughts and prayers.
On a more happier note, FFF disbursed a $3,000 donation among several families with young children to ensure that Santa Claus makes it to their homes on Christmas Day.
